You run at him and knock him to the floor. Standing over the assailant, you are impressed with how strong you are. Your pride quickly turns to fear as you notice a knife slip out of his pocket.\n[[Kick the knife out of reach.|2A]]\n[[Lunge to pick up the knife.|2B]]

It's been a long, stressful day at work. You finally manage to leave the office. As always, you take a shortcut home through the alley. Suddenly, you spot a woman in trouble. A man is attempting to steal her purse.\n[[Run and help.|1A]]\n[[Call for help.|1B]]

You shout for help. You attempt a booming noise, but all that comes out is a feable scream. The assailant hears your cries and turns to face you.\n[[Run at him.|1A]]\n[[Hide behind a dumpster.|2C]]

You run out and confront him. As you run, you slip on a puddle and fall flat on your back. You fear this may be the end. Terrified, you suddenly see two eyes in the dark.\n[[<continue>|3A]]

Terrified, you push the dumpster into him. It strikes him on the chest and he is knocked to the ground. Now is your chance.\n[[Help the woman|4C]]\n[[Attack the assailant|4D]]

Rummaging through your pockets, you grab a handful of coins and throw them at the assailant's face. Unfortunately he ducks out of the way. "Big mistake!" he shouts as he wrestles you to the ground.\nGAME OVER

A caped superhero drops down into the alley. Dressed head to toe in black, with a utility belt around his waist, he picks you up to your feet. In a rough, menacing voice he says, "Stick behind me!"\n[[Trust him|4A]]\n[[Don't trust him|4B]]

POW! As the assailant swings a fist, the caped superhero strikes him with a roundhouse kick. BISH! BOSH! WHAM! They begin to fight. With a moment to think, you grab your rope and attach it to a hook above you.\n[[Swing towards dumpster.|6A]]\n[[Swing towards woman.|6B]]

You grab your keys and jab the assailant in the leg. "Ouch!" he shouts as he lets you free. The caped superhero quickly attacks with a flying kick. ZAMM! THUNK! SWISH! They begin to fight. With a moment to think, you make a quick decision.\n[[Run to the woman.|6B]]\n[[Run to help the superhero.|6C]]\n[[Run and attack the assailant|6D]]

BANG! As the assailant swings a fist, the caped superhero strikes him with a powerul punch. KRUNCH! WHAP! BAM! They begin to fight. With a moment to think, you throw your smoke pellets as a distraction.\n[[Run to woman.|6B]]\n[[Run to help the superhero.|6C]]\n[[Run and attack assailant.|6D]]

You are determined. You are brave. Unfortunately, you are also foolish. The Kung-Fu champion assailant easily deflects your attacks. With a KA-POW!, the assailant knocks you down once and for all.\nGAME OVER

You decide to stay with the woman - leaving the superhero doomed. With one final CLANK!, the caped superhero is defeated. You are unable to save the woman on your own.\nGAME OVER

You leave the woman behind and quickly run to helo the superhero. But alas! This is too little too late. VRONK! The Kung-Fu champion assailant defeats the caped superhero. Now you are next!\nGAME OVER

You decide to try and distract the assailant by dancing the Moon-Walk. It fails to distract the assailant, but does briefly confuse the superhero. You danced a long way.\n[[Stay away for now.|8E]]\n[[Run back towards the action.|8F]]

You show great bravery in the caped superhero's time of need. Your tackle catches the Kung-Fu assailant off guard and gives your superhero a moment to recover. Now alert, his strong black gloves strike the assailant with a mighty WHOOSH!\n[[Check on the woman.|8C]]\n[[Attack again.|8D]]

While you hide behind the dumpster, the superhero is beginning to lose his fight. VRONK! The assailant throws the caped superhero to the ground. "You will not beat me - I am a Kung-Fu champion!" the assailant cries.\n[[Continue hiding and hope for the best.|8A]]\n[[Go help.|8B]]

"Wowza, we make a great team" you say. In a gruff voice he responds, "Don't get ahead of yourself kid. We got lucky this time." The superhero grabs a grapple gun from his utility belt and zips up the side of the building. He disappears in the moonlight. You will always remember this dark night.

"Holy smokes Mr! You're amazing!" you suddenly shout. "You were not too bad yourself" he responds in a low voice. "In fact, I could do with a sidekick." It seems that you have an adventurous future ahead of you.

My (Super) Hero!

You are so scared your legs feel like jelly. You still kick the knife out of reach. As you kick you slip on a puddle and fall flat on your back. You feel this may be the end. Terrified, you suddenly see two eyes in the dark.\n[[<continue>|3A]]

Your lunge is too slow. The assailant grabs the knife first and wrestles you to the ground. It was a valient effort, but your heroics do not pay off this time.\nGAME OVER

You run and hide behind the dumpster. It stinks of rotting food. Feeling sick, you start coughing. The assailant leaves the woman and you hear his footsteps approach the dumpster.\n[[Run out and confront him|3B]]\n[[Shove the dumpster towards him|3C]]

Suddenly fueled with a rush of adrenaline, you move in to restrain the assailant. As you reach him he simply overpowers you. There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Too little too late this time.\nGAME OVER

"Get away from me!" you shout as you run to safety. But the assailant grabs hold of you. Suddenly, you remember that you have something in your pocket.\n[[Grab your keys|5C]]\n[[Grab some loose change|5D]]

You run towards the woman to check that she is okay. As you run, you slip on a puddle and fall flat on your back. You fear this may be the end. Terrified, you suddenly see two eyes in the dark.\n[[<continue>|3A]]

You step behind the man's winged cape. The assailant steps forward to attack. The caped superhero turns to you and offers his utility belt. "You may want to protect yourself," he says.\n[[Take the rope|5A]]\n[[Take the smoke pellets|5B]]

As the superhero is bravely fighting this criminal, you decide to wimp out and hide behind a dumpster. Trembling, you wait for the fighting to subside.\n[[<continue>|7A]]

You go over to check the woman is okay. She is evidently terrified but not injured. However, while you help her, the superhero is beginning to lose his fight. POW! The assailant throws the caped superhero to the ground. "You will not beat me - I am a Kung-Fu champion!" the assailant cries.\n[[Help the superhero|7D]]\n[[Stay and protect the woman|7E]]

KA-POW! The caped superhero takes a big punch and looks stunned. "You will not beat me - I am a Kung-Fu champion!" the assailant cries. Just as well you are nearby as he needs your help.\n[[Tackle the assailant.|7B]]\n[[Distract the assailant.|7C]]

As the caped superhero and the assailant trade blows, you suddenly run in and try to tackle the assailant to the ground. He dodges and knocks you down. "You will not beat me - I am a Kung-Fu champion!" he cries.\n[[Back off and hide behind a dumpster.|7A]]\n[[Don't give up. Attack again.|7F]]

Having been a wimp when the superhero needed you most, your efforts are too little too late. BISH! BOSH! The Kung-Fu assailant defeats your superhero. Now stood in the open - you are next!\nGAME OVER

Convinced that the superhero can handle the rest of the fight for himself, you go and check on the woman. Thankfully you are right. ZOK! BAM! SOCK! The caped superhero knocks him down and details him with the handcuffs in his utility belt. He throws the purse towards the woman. How do you respond?\n[[Wowza, we make a great team!|9A]]\n[[Holy smokes Mr! You're amazing!|9B]]

Your decision to hide when the caped superhero needs you the most is a costly one. While you wimp out - the Kung-Fu assailant defeats your superhero. Now you are next!\nGAME OVER

Many would feel too embarrassed to help after those crazy dance moves. But you are not "Many". BOSH! The caped superhero takes another big punch. This time you decide to tackle the assailant.\n[[Continue...|7B]]

This fighting has evidently gone to your head. You now realise that you are more like a Rocky Road than a Rocky Balboa. The assailant knocks you down once and for all. KA-POW!\nGAME OVER

Too embarrassed after those rediculous dance moves to help in the action, you decide to stay away. It costs your superhero his life as with one big Kung-Fu chop he is knocked down for good. Now you are doomed!\nGAME OVER
