High on Life 2
I was a senior narrative and content design for High on Life. Since Squanch Games isn't a huge team (was around ~90 by release) I was able to have a large impact on the final game. I had a hand in designing and implementing many game-wide systems including mission progression and the Fast Travel system. I also wrote the spec for engineering to completely replace our script and audio pipeline which saved countless person hours of effort.
Most of my design and narrative effort went into the Murder Mystery, all content in the homebase Quarters, and finally the entire Court Case with Epilogue following directly after.
My proudest inclusions are:
- Coming up w/ and implementing the Frasier Crane Machine
- Designing and implementing the Twilly's No Escape escape room experience
- Creating the secret Twilly ending to the game, secretly... After implementing it I showed it to our directors and got it approved!
